Public Computers, Wifi & Printing
Don’t hesitate to take advantage of our Public Computers, Wifi & Printing service. We’re here to help and offer you all the information and resources at our disposal. Contact us to find out more information about any of our services.
Reserves and Holds
A reserve or hold may be placed on any item already checked out by another patron. Patrons may place a reserve on an item at the circulation desk, at our catalog terminals, or from your home using our online catalog. You will be notified by phone when an item will be available for pickup. Reserved items will be held for three days.
Interlibrary Loans
For items not owned by the libraries, we are connected to a worldwide library network that allows us to share resources between each other. We will attempt to retrieve any materials for you but cannot guarantee another library will loan the item to us. Please note: Items may take approximately 21 business days to arrive. Loan periods, renewals and overdue fines are at the discretion of the lending library.
Office Support
Joint Base Charleston Libraries receives funding to order mission essential materials and subscriptions for most offices at Joint Base Charleston. If funds are not available at the time of the request, offices are required under Government Purchase Card regulations to obtain prior approval from the library to purchase with their own funding. Please contact the Senior Library Technician at (843) 963-3321 for more information. Funds are not available until the third of quarter of the fiscal year.
